How to lose that over hanging belly and tone your bum!

Last week i asked if there was anything that you needed any help with regarding your health and fitness goals.

I had hundreds of people emailing me and asking questions but there were 3 questions that kept popping up all the time.

How can i lose my over hanging belly?

What’s the best exercise to tone my bum?

What foods should i be eating to lose weight?

Now if all of these people kept asking me the same questions, your probably thinking the same thing right?

Well here is the answer…

Firstly you can’t just spot reduce weight loss from one area of the body, when you are losing weight you will lose it from everywhere.

Secondly just doing an exercise class or going to the gym and running on the treadmill will not transform your body.

Neither will living off lettuce leaves and slimming shakes, that’s just a recipe for failure!!

The best type of training to tone and shape your body is High Intensity Interval Training, this method of training will soon tone and shape your body and and will burn way more calories than any other type of training!!

And to lose that overhanging belly and tone and shape that bum you should follow a structured periodised program that will take you through various phases and intensities.

Variations of squats, lunges, plank holds, kettle bell swings are all great for those areas but without a structured healthy eating plan to go along side it you will be heading for failure quicker than anything.

Following a healthy eating plan will account for around 70 – 80% of your weight loss. By combining this with a periodized training program you will be toning and shaping that body whilst setting the body up to burn more calories at rest!!
